Sept. 15, 2009 House, Senate Consider Definitions of Parental Rights Posted: 15 Sep 2009 08:54 PM PDT House, Senate consider definitions of parental rights ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sept. 15, 2009-Via Email We are sounding the "Charge!" once again. And today, we're going with you! First, we want to thank you for calling Congress, and urging others to call. We know you are having an impact on Capitol Hill. What kind of impact, we will know better by tomorrow. That's because today we are going in to D.C. to speak with congressmen and senators ourselves. We'll be dropping off information in some offices that have heard from you, and in others we'll get to sit down and talk some things over. Because of your phone calls, we will have a better reception. They will know we represent all of you! So, if you haven't called yet, or just want to call again, check our States Watch page and select your state to see which representatives and senators are already on board grab the contact information for those who are not, and give them a call. (No one new has officially signed on since Monday.) Then, invite your friends to do the same. And while you are calling, we will be taking the message to them face-to-face. Now, there is one down side to this: we must ask for your patience if you need to call our office today with any questions or needs. They will be greatly under-staffed, since most of us will be on the Hill. Finally, if you are a person of faith we invite you to pray for our visits today. The fact is, we simply cannot do this alone. Thank you for standing with us and allowing us to represent you in this great fight for the future of our country - our children! As a reminder: please donate now. There are only two days left in our membership drive ($25 or more), and we are well shy of our goal of 10,000 new or renewing members. Did you know you can buy a membership on behalf of someone else? Call us at 540.751.1200 for that option. There are also only two days left to receive two T-shirts free with your donation of $100 or more. To join or donate now, click here. Also, don't forget to check out our front page for today's video
